Ben Shapiro Education was born and raised in Los Angeles, California to Helen, an employment attorney, and David Shapiro, who taught English at the Beverly Hills High School. Ben attended the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) where he received his B.A., in Political Science with a minor in History from UCLA’s College of Letters and Science. He was President of his class at Beverly Hills High School and graduated second in his class at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California.

His parents are from New York however, neither is native to New York. His mother is from Peru and father being Jewish originally come from New York City and moved to LA for work reasons. His mother got into trouble for selling counterfeit clothes in Peru which led her family here where she met Ben Shapiro’s father.

Ben Shapiro Education Certificate of Proficiency in Hebrew Language from The David Cardozo Academy: Ben studied with Rabbi Josef March while attending Yeshiva College until his graduation which led him to learn how to read, write, understand and speak Hebrew fluently enough to travel through Israel by himself interviewing Israelis about their country for two weeks living on Kibbutz Retainer north shore near Sea of Galilee then on Masada near Dead Sea then finally visiting Jerusalem.

Elementary Education, American conservative political commentator and media personality Ben Shapiro was born to an Orthodox Jewish family. When he was in 8th grade, he moved with his family from New York to Los Angeles. He attended Beverly Hills High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from University of California at Santa Barbara.
He later enrolled in Harvard Law School for his Juries Doctor degree. While in Harvard, he became editor-in-chief of The Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy (renamed Harvard Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law in 2016). In 2002, after three years at Harvard, he graduated and accepted a position as one of only 20 researchers hired by then-Attorney General John Ashcroft for work on terrorism policy issues.
