5 things you might not know about Shisui Uchiha

Shisui Uchiha Like many legendary ninjas, Shisui Uchiha was highly skilled in the art of ninjutsu. He was also known as Shunshin no Shisui or Shisui of the Body Flicker. In this article, we explore 5 things you might not know about him.

Is Uchiha Shisui the strongest?

Shisui Uchiha is credited with one Sharingan technique, there is speculation that his eyes were so powerful that he didn’t need to rely on others. Using both Mangekyou Sharingan and Amaterasu, was it possible that he was able to use them in tandem to harness unique powers? Did we already see some of these techniques in Boruto? If he were still alive today, could we expect him to be as strong as Madara or Obito? The short answer is no we don’t know how strong Shisui was. But what if he had been a member of Team 7?

What if Kakashi had met him first instead of Itachi? Would he have been more willing to teach Naruto than Sasuke? How much would history have changed if Shisui had lived longer than a year after Kakashi became a jounin ninja? We may never know. This doesn’t sound right: There are three other well-known Sharingan users who each contributed a power to their bloodline limit: Indra’s Eye (which allows users to copy someone else’s eye movements), Tsukuyomi which puts its victims into an illusion) and Amaterasu (which burns anyone who looks at it.

Those abilities make sense when applied to other ninjas like Itachi, but they seem too common for Shisui. And while his body flicker technique sounds useful, there are plenty of other people who can do that too. Wasn’t any single ability enough for people to call him legendary? I think Shisui’s value comes from all four of those known abilities combined together into one superpower. When used correctly, Shisui’s flickering could allow him to perform impossible feats such as dodging simultaneous attacks from multiple directions or moving faster than normal humans can even perceive.

Shisui Uchiha  makes Shisui special and has led fans to speculate that he was even stronger than Itachi himself. Do fans really believe that? Yes! When fans talk about which character is strongest in Naruto, most people point to Itachi because of his incredible skill set and reputation as a prodigy. But many also say that if Shisui hadn’t died young, he would have surpassed everyone including Itachi because of his superior skillet. So why wasn’t Shisui part of Team 7?

Who kills Shisui?

Hatake Kakashi kills Shisui to stop him from committing suicide. With his last breath, he tells his best friend, Uchiha Itachi that he did it for Konoha; he didn’t want to die a useless death and wanted Itachi to protect their village. His eye is later transplanted into Mangekyō Sharingan user Kakashi Hatake. This leaves behind many mysteries and questions.

Did he really kill himself, or was he killed by someone else? If so, who killed him? What happened during his fight with Itachi? Why did Sasuke have such an important role in all of it? While some answers are known, others are still unknown or unclear. Let’s take a look at five facts you may not know about Shisui Uchiha.

Shisui Uchiha was born on October 10th, 1980 in what would become part of Iwagakure (at that time Iwa). He had one younger brother named Fugaku Uchiha, who would grow up to be the leader of their clan after their father died. He also had two older brothers named Madara and Izuna (who were both members of Akatsuki). Like other members of his clan, he possessed dark hair and eyes with fair skin.

What was Shisui’s power?

Shisui’s Sharingan was considered a flawless and powerful dōjutsu. The Sharingan in his right eye allowed him to perfectly replicate any technique that he saw, except for other kekkei Genkai techniques. He could perform up to three Jutsu at once from memory alone with just one eye, a feat that very few people were capable of doing. With his left eye, he could cast various genjutsu such as inducing paralysis and sleepiness. In addition, he also had access to Amaterasu. Due to his special eyes, Shisui was deemed the most gifted of all students by Itachi Uchiha.

When Orochimaru attacked Konoha, it is unknown if Shisui ever got an opportunity to fight back against Orochimaru before he died. During Itachi’s battle with Sasuke on top of Tsunade’s office tower, it is revealed that Itachi killed Shisui because he didn’t want anyone else to have control over his eyes. Itachi stated that if they can take control over someone else’s power they can take control over their destiny as well-meaning even though Sasuke knew what happened between them, he couldn’t change anything nor can’t change his own destiny because of these events which resulted in him defecting from Konoha.

Is Shisui stronger than Itachi?

Sesshomaru is often asked whether or not Shisui was stronger than Itachi, as both were mentioned to be among the strongest of their time. Let’s first take a look at what we know about these two characters. We have five things we can compare for each character: birth date, age during Part I, abilities fighting skills before and after awakening, strength ranking within the team, and finally power ranking in their respective village. First, let’s look at how old they were during part one.

Shisui was born on March 8th, while Itachi was born on September 9th. This means that during part one, Shisui would have been around 18 years old while Itachi would have been around 15 years old. Next up are their abilities before and after awakening. Before awakening, Shisui could use Mangekyou Sharingan with only one tomoe while it took Itachi three years to do so with two tomoe.
