Roronoa Zoro was born in Foosha Village on an island called Shimotsuki Shira in East Blue. He is 24 years old and is a member of Straw Hat Pirates. His dream is to become World’s Strongest Swordsman. Before becoming a pirate, he worked as a bounty hunter named Pirate Hunter Roronoa Zolo (ロロノア・ゾロ) to earn money for his childhood friend named Kuina but was not a full-time job.

After her death, he became a pirate at age 17 along with Mihawk and Koby who were also trained by him. After that, he joined Luffy’s crew them. He wields three swords; one two-handed sword which is Wado Ichimonji Katana (和道一文字刀), one one-handed sword which is Sandai Kitetsu Katana (三代鬼徹刀), one dagger which is Yubashiri (夕霧).

He wears black bandanna over his head and black shirt under white vest. In addition, he wears green pants which are covered by red sash belt tied up around his waist. The most noticeable thing about him is that he has long nose hair and a scar across left eye from when he fought Dracule Mihawk before joining up with Luffy’s crew. Roronoa Zoro is skilled in Iaido technique (drawing/sheathing techniques) where he uses it to draw out all three of his swords at once or draw one sword after another without sheathing any of them. This can be considered a running gag throughout series. He is able to do so because he possesses superhuman strength and speed.

As well as having excellent skills in swordsmanship, his signature attack is Santoryu (literally meaning Three Swords Style). Zoro got his first bounty of 60 million berries after defeating Higuma while protecting Nami from being kidnapped by him while still working as a bounty hunter before joining up with Luffy’s crew. Also, he defeated Kaku who had 200 million berries bounty on his head during Envies Lobby Arc while protecting Robin from being kidnapped by Kaku and Bonney pirates despite being badly injured himself during fight against Dracule Mihawk earlier during Baratie Arc.

Yes! Roronoa Zoro has two love interests, Tashigi and Kuina. He used to have a more casual relationship with Tashigi when they were younger but over time it turned into something more serious. He first meets Kuina while he is practicing his swordsmanship. She becomes an inspiration for him to be stronger. However, she dies during a duel against one of Zoro’s rivals. After her death, Zoro trains harder than ever before in order to honor her memory.

Roronoa Zoro relationship with Kuina reminds me of my relationship with my brother. We are very competitive towards each other but we always support each other when it counts most. I admire how Roronoa Zoro honors Kuina’s memory by training harder than ever before after her death.

That dedication and passion inspires me to become stronger as well! I am inspired by Roronoa Zoro’s strength and determination! He never gives up no matter what challenge or opponent stands in front of him! Zoro has one eye because he lost his left eye in a fight against Mihawk.

He had originally lost his right arm during a battle with Dracule Mihawk, who is known as The World’s Greatest Swordsman. This was Zoro’s first encounter with Mihawk and he fought so hard that his arm got cut off at the shoulder by accident.

When he faced Mihawk again, he had only one sword so he tied his arm onto his back so that there would be less room for error. After his loss against Mihawk, Zoro tried to get stronger so that he could defeat him. Even though he did not win, Zoro still respects Mihawk for being such an incredible swordsman.
